EPAH lunch talk #6 - Tackling energy poverty through behaviour change

The series of EPAH lunch talks continues with a session dedicated to behaviour change to tackle energy poverty.

Among the different measures to address energy poverty, education and awareness are often mentioned as key element. It is important to analyse the positive behaviour of vulnerable consumers, transfer their knowledge and use this approach to design more effective approaches.

The lunch talk will be the opportunity to discuss the behavioural change measures and explore how to implement an effective program, and develop targeted messages to empower vulnerable consumers and ensure their access to affordable energy services.

The agenda is as follows:

  • Marta Garcia, Ecoserveis, will give an overview of targeted measures towards vulnerables consumers
  • Andrea Tamas, Ranas Ltd., will present the RANAS model, an approach to systematic behaviour change applied to energy poverty.
  • Opening discussion among the participants to share experiences and practices.
