Ask your questions to, and join a discussion with, an expert panel of academics and practitioners working on the private rental sector.
The private rented sector has the highest rates of fuel poverty in England. Improving energy efficiency and housing conditions in the sector is essential if the UK is to meet its net zero and fuel poverty obligations. Yet the sector also has numerous entrenched challenges that impede energy efficiency retrofitting, particularly affecting some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in society.
This session is organised by the Fuel Poverty Research Network, with the contribution of the following experts:
- Dr Neil Simcock, Liverpool John Moores University
- Jennifer Harris, Tenancy Deposit Scheme
