First Local Meeting against the Heat: What will we do next summer?

The Fundación València Clima i Energia will be hosting an event with local actors working on issues related to heat adaptation and summer energy poverty, with the aim to learn about and share initiatives for the upcoming summer.

The objectives of the conference are to present the work carried out during the CoolTuraTE project and the training on summer energy poverty and heat adaptation, including its conclusions and recommendations for the city of Valencia. Moreover, the event will highlight other existing or planned initiatives to address the heat by entities that have participated in the course or new ones operating in the local environment. Overall, it will provide a space for reflection to define specific next steps to address the heat this upcoming summer and to make progress in defining possible heat adaptation actions that could be included in a future revision of the Valencia Climate Agreement.
