The week will bring together academics, policymakers and practitioners in the field of energy poverty for a series of five seminars, discussions and workshops centered on finding actionable solutions to this global issue. The first day will launch with a discussion on the right to energy and energy justice. Each subsequent day will focus on a different continent-Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Social media activity, project and research news, and an on-the-ground action, will also take place over the week.
The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub participates on the 3rd day of the event dedicated to "Europe - Practical ways to alleviate energy poverty in and Europe ways to measure and evaluate impacts of action". The day will bring together perspectives on local solutions and good practices from different projects working in the sphere of energy poverty. The EPAH team will present inspirational cases from its EPAH ATLAS, the online interactive database that allows visitors to discover local and international projects as well as measures addressing energy poverty across the world.
