Description
4th EPAH Practitioners Event, Interlocking Vulnerabilities: Intersectional Approaches to Understanding Energy Poverty explores how overlapping social identities shape people's lived experiences of inadequate energy access. The event highlights diverse perspectives, uncovers hidden inequalities, and encourages participants to co-create inclusive strategies that address the multiple, interconnected factors driving energy poverty across communities.
This interactive event brings together researchers, practitioners, and community experts to explore how an intersectionality perspective can deepen our understanding of energy poverty and strengthen solutions at the local level. Casting light on different aspects of intersectionality (gender, age, disability), the event opens an opportunity for a facilitated, hands-on session to identify local challenges and co-develop intersectional strategies for tackling energy poverty.
