Home premiums (primes habitation)

Policies and Measures

With the housing premiums, the government of Wallonia financially supports renovation and energy efficiency measures. After applying for the premium, a housing editor evaluates the dwelling and ranks the different renovations or energy efficiency works that can be carried out. In order to be eligible to the premium, the order needs to be respected.

The premiums apply to the following types of work:

  • house audit.
  • roof (fixing & insulations) & rainwater collection & evacuation.
  • work on walls and floors. security works on gas and electrical installations.
  • heating installations.
  • ventilation systems.

Housing audit results can be used regardless of housing premium payouts. Household income and dependents influence calculation of premium.
