Warm Homes Oldham

Warm Homes Oldham is a scheme to support households to reduce their energy bills and stay warm in winter in Oldham City Council.

The activities developed with a budget between 100.000 and 1M€ include the Warm Homes Oldham team assessing the situation and offing:

  • Advice on how to reduce energy use around the home and use heating controls effectively
  • Help with switching energy supplier or tariff, claiming the Warm Homes Discount and registering on the Priority Services Register
  • Small energy saving measures (like draught-proofing, LED light bulbs and reflective radiator foils)
  • Oil filled radiators in an emergency no heat situation
  • Refer to regional and national schemes, acting as sponsor for some of them (meaning user don't have to pay).
