AISFOR is an Italian private knowledge and capacity building company with nearly 20 years of experience in the green sector  (from energy, environment to agriculture). It was established in January 2005 and has its headquarters in Rome (Italy) but operates at National level.

 

AISFOR’s mission is to support and contribute to the development of the green sector in a just and fair manner in line with the Green Deal and with the Energy Transition at National and European level. Recognising the importance of society in this ambitious process, AISFOR focuses on the human dimension in all its aspects - consumers, citizens, worker and policy decision taker. AISFOR aims to bridge the needs of all human actors of society to policy development, technological growth and overall innovation, including capacity and knowledge building.

 

In line with its mission, AISFOR is structured in two complementary areas: “Research & Innovation” and “Training” which collaborate to deliver specific activities, such as social research, technical assistance, communication and awareness building campaigns, knowledge building, training, mentoring and empowering addressing mainly citizens and local governments and related stakeholders (such as non profit associations, energy agencies, market and professionals actors).  AISFOR works directly with a wide range of actors such as institutional bodies, municipalities, market actors, consumer association and social associations (including social houses) and research bodies. Over the years it has built a wide and overarching network of collaborations at national and European level. AISFOR’s staff is highly specialised both on the green themes (vertical competencies) and on knowledge and capacity building processes (horizontal competencies) and has strong managerial skills.
