Description
On 24 June 2025 at 10:00 CET, Energy Cities invites local governments and urban professionals to an interactive online session exploring how cities can respond to rising heat with fossil-free and inclusive cooling strategies.
Part of the Fossil-Free Cities HUB, this Community of Practice creates space for peer exchange, practical insights, and collaborative problem-solving around one of today’s most pressing challenges: making cities livable in the face of extreme heat.
The upcoming session will focus on:
Nature-based cooling solutions
Social inequalities in access to cool spaces
Local approaches to resilience and urban design
Featured speakers include representatives from the City of Marseille, City of Forest, and the EU Covenant of Mayors office.
