The event will gather local governments, policymakers, experts, and stakeholders committed to addressing energy poverty and fostering sustainable solutions. EPAH invites interested entities to apply for session organisation under the conference's umbrella. The goal is to bring together like-minded organizations, institutions, and initiatives to enrich the conference with diverse perspectives and expertise.
Proposals can be submitted for the following formats:
- Interactive workshops: Hands-on sessions with practical activities, group work, and exercises designed to actively involve participants.
- Panel discussions: Traditional format with a group of experts discussing a specific topic, including Q&A segments to engage the audience.
- Networking area presentations: Informal presentations or activities in a designated networking area to facilitate spontaneous discussions and direct interactions.
Themes and focus areas
Sessions should align with the conference's focus on the implementation of energy poverty measures, policies, and actions at various levels of governance. Themes include:
- Tangible experiences and results from EU, national, and local initiatives.
- Results of actions combating energy poverty, such as renewable energy communities, behavioral change campaigns, home renovations, energy efficiency improvements, regulatory incentives, and financial measures.
- Effective impact monitoring of initiatives.
Application requirements
Eligible applicants include:
- Initiatives and consortiums of EU or local projects and initiatives
- Local and regional governments
- Civil Society Organizations (NGOs)
- Academic and research institutions
- Energy agencies
- EU institutions and committees
- Private and public organizations
Each session must focus on showcasing experiences, best practices, and tips for local governments, featuring practical case examples from cities and regions. Sessions can include up to four speakers, including the moderator, and must be conducted in English, Spanish, or Catalan. Proposals can be submitted in any of these languages.
The allocated time for each session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Applications must include tangible results, outputs, and lessons learned from the initiatives presented.
