Actions in the homes of families with energy poverty is a project that works in homes with energy poverty after having trained families on energy use and efficiency. In coordination with social services, the project coordinators visit vulnerable households and make direct adjustments to their electrical appliances and consumption habits. The visit results in adjustments on energy contracting, and contracting by the City Council of training on sustainable domestic economy for families with energy poverty.
The activities developed with a budget between below 5000€ include: Carrying out the course coordination with social services for the selection of the most vulnerable families. Carrying out the actions at home. Some concrete key performance indicators (KPIs) include: Energy saving: 20%. Financial savings: 25-35%.
