By identifying the main cause, this indicator does not reflect all the risk factors contributing to mortality. Thus, it should be analysed jointly with the "Pop. reporting chronic disease" indicator to identify potential contributing factors and their relationship with energy poverty. It should be mentioned that variations in medical diagnosis may result in unequal reporting across regions or countries.
